Helix is an outpatient program for teens, ages 12-18, who temporarily require more intensive care than typical therapy can provide.

Our intensive short-term therapeutic services for DC Metro Area teens and their families rely on cutting-edge treatments with a fully integrated, customized approach. The Helix program gives teens the tools to pause, reset, and return to their lives — re-engaged and better equipped.

A double helix is the ultimate symbol and shape of interconnected life. Within a helix we find inner strength that is uniquely our own and makes us more emotionally resilient.

We are committed to keeping your teen central to our work. We focus on providing life-changing skills for teens through a customized, highly effective 12-week program:

  • Increase effective, healthy behaviors

We rely on trusted therapies with high success rates.

Our unique outpatient program is developed with your child’s success in mind. Many of our therapies are based on the treatment models and intensive programs at McLean Hospital (Harvard Medical). From DBT, to ACT, to SPACE, we rely on a combination of proven, evidence-based treatments for teens-in-crisis and their families.
